Meeting Goals through Personal Commitment

Our program was established from a psychosocial, rehabilitative and recovery-based philosophy which is specially designed to support residents to live an independent life, providing foundation and structure.

We deliver the right kind of care. Our Get to Know Us Program will ensure that potential residents are capable of making use of the program in the best way possible.

We offer 3 types of programs; designed specifically to meet the needs of the individual and to ensure we have a community in which all residents may prosper by realizing their own potential.

Pre-Residential Day Program

Our Pre-Residential Assessment Day Program offers an opportunity to participate in activities that cultivate interpersonal connection and promote restorative practices.

Participation in our programs and taking part in the community helps to develop social and life skills which are extremely important for those who live at the Residences of 1425 Bayview. Consistency and structure help to optimize the resident’s level of success for independent living.

As the ultimate goal is reintegration into community, pursuits such as employment, volunteering and academics take precedence over programming.  We strive to maintain a balance of onsite and outside programming and activities to meet the needs of the group as well as those of each individual resident as they evolve and change.

In order to be happy and fulfilled, residents need to be as self-aware as possible  with an ability to advocate for themselves. Family caregivers also need to proactively advocate and encourage their family member to take the small steps and even small risks which staff and the care team know will enable them to move forward.

All of these factors ensure that as the Get to Know Us Program is completed, we and the family are able to make the best possible decision for their family member in entering into an Enhanced Residential Tenancy Agreement.
